Paul Shore has over ten years experience working in media; as a television news and documentary
producer, one man band video-journalist, and communications consultant. He is also Co-Founder of the
Canadian NGO Apathy Is Boring and is currently Executive Producer and Senior Strategist for               Mojumbo Media Group, an integrated communications and production house in Montreal.

Paul’s career in media started in 1997 in the newsrooms of CNN and Fox News as a production
assistant and then a writer. Since then, he has been a casting director for MTV, Canada Bureau Chief
for Guerrilla News Network and has worked as a creator, producer, director, shooter and editor
for clients including PBS, MTV Canada, Much Music, Bravo, CBC, The Real News,
amongst others.  His work as a videojournalist has included stories exploring graffiti
culture, corporate crime, stereotyping, and eco-innovations and continues to straddle
and bridge the worlds of mainstream and alternative media.

In 2003-2004, Paul was a recipient of a Sauve Scholarship that brings under
30 year old leaders from around the world to Montreal to explore how their work
can be used to affect positive change. During that time, he Co-Founded Apathy
Is Boring, an NGO that uses sarcasm, media, and technology to engage youth in
Canadian politics.

Paul consults, lectures and conducts workshops on media strategies, video
production and advocacy, and youth engagement. His interest in sustainable
business and innovation has also garnered him a variety of consulting work for
clients including Jesta Group (green building in real estate), TMRWs (organic fast
food), and Sunarc (low-energy greenhouse tech). He sits on the Board of the Atwater
Library Digital Literacy Project, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and
currently lives in Montreal.
